“Low and behold, the elephants are taking a shower in the Jephson Gardens pond” – Brian Roe
This is the second of three compositions featuring the Elephants of Leamington Spa.
Sam Lockhart had tremendous success with his elephant acts. His most famous group were known as “The Three Graces”: Wilhelmina and two younger elephants, Trilby and Haddie. Haddie (or Hattie) was also the nickname for his wife, Harriet Alice (who died In 1897). He also had two bull elephants called Romeo and Charley. His other famous elephants were Jock and Jenny, who were worked in front of Queen Victoria. (from Wikipedia)
Own this signed limited A4 print in an A3 glass fronted frame – Printed on Hahnemühle Fine Art paper.
After the social media posting of The Elephants in River Leam created quite a stir, I have decided to release it a limited edition signed print, professionally mounted in a glass-fronted frame.
The framed and mounted prints will cost £49 each and be available at a first come first served basis, but preference will be given to those with a Leamington Spa and Warwick postcode. I’ll also be releasing the composition as a digital high-res download which will be in print quality resolution at A4. Larger sizes are available upon request.
The prints will be in an A3 frame with white bordering and mounting and printed on gallery-quality satin art paper. additionally, I will be delighted to sign each and every print in person on the collection from Arts Trail.
Custom sizes will be available if required and priced according to the size and material, either printed on gallery-quality satin art paper, aluminium or canvas
The prints will be made by my friend’s Arts Trail in the Royal Priors on the Parade in Leamington. (I’m keeping this an all-Leamington Spa thing).
